I'm no fan or defender of J.K.Rowling by any stretch of the imagination. But I got to give her props for holding the line ne against the Trans lobby. Trannys have apparently won the oppression Olympics by no small margin. Even black rappers have apologized to them.
True, trans people do win by such a wide margin. And rappers used to be the counter culture. Standing up to every single form of thought and living by their artistic principle. It's hard for me, because as a classical liberal, who defends everyone, gets tired of having to call out the alphabet people bc of their incompetent logic toward artistic merit knows no bounds. The trans community wants their literary hero's, write it and impress me and everyone else, through character, sentences, that reflect their ego while looking at the bigger picture. As for JK, Coopting old hero's to match current political trends never works out. In summation, trying to appease everyone doesn't always work out with already established characters, too. So, as tolerant as I am, I can rightfully say, the trans community needs to write and publish but also earn my respect as a writer, just as they are growing in their craft.
