Artist removes cover and in text drawings from JK Rowling's Harry Potter to spite famous author

TikTok Stupidity Strikes Again

It’s never a day goes by on Twitter, the Twitter mob rails on about JK Rowling. From being mad about Dumbledore being gay to JK Rowling personal beliefs about biological women, JK Rowling is a woman that dares to offend both sides equally. But in certain cases, Rowling is someone that can’t be pegged entirely in one corner or another. But the question remains, what did JK Rowling do this time?

            The answer: Nothing.

            The supposed artist of the books went to tiktok to take his name off the drawings because of his transgender beliefs.

In my own response on Twitter, I lay out the perspective clear. This book is meaningless without the cover. 2. This person is just virtue signaling for . . . whatever reason they see fit. 3. I would toss that book if you handed that to me in a library or bookstore.

Now, personally, this doesn’t feel right or kosher, because everything on Twitter becomes a hot garbage pile. It’s simple. The tiktok video in question is from a book binder, named Laura, and the original cover and artist is Mary GrandPre. And laura, the transgendered book binder, is just removing the cover. Technically that makes it illegal, but the tiktok video itself proves that same tired question.

Are the trans community merely projecting there tired beliefs on a society that can’t pay the rent, work a steady week, be paid a decent wage, and have time to read a book they enjoy. The trans community has too much time on their hands, which makes Laura’s bourgeois lifestyle of ripping off book covers another piece of shit media expose on Laura’s idiotic beliefs.

And hey, let’s be honest. If the 3 trans community members in the world are so mad they should make their own art and be original. If you think people have problems, try paying your rent at minimum wage and barely be able to support yourself. But then, woke twitter artists who think biological identity is a conversation piece, that’s entirely dishonest and the world has bigger issues to deal with.

But JK Rowling, to me, is a figure I have had no real love or disdain for. Not being a fan of the work, or other tie in media, games or books, Rowling is a curious study as a cultural zeitgeist. I do support her right to believe what she wants, and she’s been no stranger to controversy. But the answer is simple: JK Rowling is neither a hero or villain in my life, but another celebrity author who can do what she likes, but do I defend her, no just study. Because my definition of freedom of speech still remains.

JK Rowling is a grown woman, and the artist in question wants to change his name. Fine. Just don’t accept the checks, but Laura, the trans book binder, is just another bystander of bigotry toward a biological woman. Give up your bigotry, Lara, and make something we can marvel or be amazed by. Removing a cover is not amazing, and nor is it praiseworthy attempt to bash JK Rowling, either.
