Here’s a question to a lot of my readers and writers
Whenever I start to think about making a story set in Chernobyl, I immediately think, “man I can’t do that because of the vast market of properties out there overcrowding the subject. Like Chernobylite, and Shadows of Chernobyl, or even Metro, too.”
It doesn’t have to be genres, it can even be podcasts that cover so much too. Like Bigfoot podcasts, too, even though they are entertaining.
What do you think are the most overpopulated genres or podcasts?
Overpopulated Genres? Probably Superheroes, and horror, specifically zombies. though i contend that genres are just settings and that the actual story and characters are what's going to grab or lose people. Superheroes for example. Is there "Superhero fatigue" or are people just tired of the bad movies often associated with superheroes? I think its the bad stories people are tired of.
I saw a commercial for "Wakanda Forever" and I wish Marvel would have retired Black Panther, in general. And I saw a trailer for "The Woman King" and I said, "Oh boy. Probably the worst title in all of cinematic history." But I think real story tellers have been pushed out of all mainstream creative fields, so this is what we get.

Well, its what THEY get. i just read/watch older things. Forget all that Ministry of Truth garbage.
