The consequence of politics is that often the wrong people make a war in order to benefit foreign affairs instead of domestic. If everyone is going to pass around Ukraine memes about “how a woman put sunflower seeds in the men’s pockets they will spring forth back in revolution” is poetic, but it has all been done before, said before by mothers who watched their children go off to war or fend off domestic violence at the border.
But what defines my ire this last week is not the Ukrainian men and women defending their borders. Not the propaganda. But the sheer disgusting ramifications of Joe Biden’s policies that have shaped the world into the shitstorm ahead.
To appease a dictator, you punish them, not lift sanctions. There’s a real danger in going to war with Russia. Russians know how to deal with the cold. America and the rest of the world, doesn’t. Napoleon is probably laughing in his grave at us. He thought he could take Russia, too.
Russia is a place that Americans, Democrats, at least, are not aware of the rest of the world. They want to take their vacations but never actually visit the slums of Brazil, or visit the middle east, probably to only work on their sun tan, at best. Don’t want to stay too long or they might get uncomfortable wearing a hijab all the time.
But to take Ukraine into account over Russia is a long and contested issue. Ukraine, is very much a nation that wants nothing to do with the rest of the world. It doesn’t entirely want to be part of NATO, nor does it want to be with Russia.
So, if all the pandering to American to intervene, especially with Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, says, “The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.” Bold and brave words which is what Ukrainians should hear. It’s what a leader should say. But this sounds vaguely familiar.
This resembles what the Muslims wanted in order to fight the Communists.
As Mark Twain has said, “History doesn’t repeat but it rhymes,” and this is certainly sounding familiar. Nothing Rakim or a rapper could write in a notebook or iPhone. Get laughed out of the room like Canibus, as he pulled out a notebook in a battle, when everyone uses an iPhone to write on.[i]
In all seriousness, Vladimir Putin, is a vicious dictator, but I can’t blame Putin, because if Joe Biden releases the Trump Era sanctions against Putin, and Putin decides, “I’m just gonna go in and take what I want. Biden won’t do anything” it’s Putin’s time. As there are neo-nazi’s holding flags in Ukraine, it’s not based of out figments of leftists imagination. Ukraine did have a part to play in collaboration with Nazi occupied Germans. The Hegewald, as it was called, was a German occupied force in Ukraine. But if Putin is “trying to stop Nazi’s” then is he really just playing at the liberal think card. If he says he’s attacking Nazi’s, he has his reasons, I guess. The Bila Tserkva massacre in 1941 happened, too, where the adult Jewish population was murdered, protesting Nazi mistreatment of 90 Jewish children. So Ukraine has every right to defend its borders, of course, but is that my or anyone else’s problem?
The answer is this: if we’re too busy worrying about Ukraine, we won’t fix America’s problems, too. Obesity, poverty, wages, addiction, Cancer, jobs, and the US’s economy should be Joe Biden’s aim as *President of the United States*. Dementia, too. Which Joe Biden knows all about. Or does he, at this point? Maybe someone should tell him, and then maybe he’ll forget.
But to protect Ukraine is to protect Hunter Biden’s failure as he was the head of energy corporation at Barisma in Ukraine. Also the interest in building up a pipeline into Europe doesn’t make sense for anyone in America. Most Europeans would agree.
Ukraine’s problem doesn’t mean shit to me and my readers and anyone else who lives outside the establishment cult of the mainstream media and democrat think tanks. Even though we aren’t in the middle east, we are protecting oil, for other countries. And America’s pipeline is not important either.
That was the same mission in the US middle eastern conflict from 2001 to 2021. The failure in society is that we can fix the worlds’ problems comes from a first world notion of “we are better than you, and having McDonalds and Abercrombie & Fitch will help you understand that. Get rid of your history and statues and worship materialistic ideals. Don’t read history and erase your culture.”
Fasceous example but the point is, American culture might not always be the best choice for Europe and her people. So, being involved with Ukraine presents catastrophic problems for the world. With Russia exporting more gas than ever, Putin can shut down our trade embargo, too. China, joining forces with Russia, is not going to make this easy either. If Taiwan falls, then say goodbye to microchips. Laptops, televisions, cars.
It’s the line that Elrond says in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. “Our list of allies grow thin.” But it’s not like China was ever our ally, to begin with.
The question remains: Who wants to support America and Joe Biden, after his debacle in Afghanistan, leaving civilians and American troops to die, or worse. What Trump presented to the world is strength, Joe Biden, weakness.
And it seems we’re in the same predicament as before. Coming to the aide of bureaucratic allies, protecting a feckless president, which after he lifted sanctions, comes full circle. American boys and girls shouldn’t have to die for a feckless president’s, Joe Biden’s, interest. Not the American interest, or my own.
I support Ukraine’s right to defend themselves, but if all we’re doing is protecting a pipeline that doesn’t belong to us, this sounds like a waste of time. And not repeating our mistake in Afghanistan and Iraq. Oil. The next time someone talks about oil, all I want to hear is “Oil, bitch who cooking?”
[i] Thank you for letting me laugh a little. Because if I didn’t laugh, then nothing would make sense.
