The Restrictive Language of PC Culture

In a conversation I had with Piper the Wolf Mama, on Twitter, she posted a quote tweet that read, “So Stunning and So Brave” in response to a woman named Asha Rangappa’s tweet, “I just blocked Elon musk.” Piper’s satirical response is hilarious because it shows that the left cannot handle criticism. “Once you emotionalize their politics you can’t begin to intellectualize it,” as Razörfist said. What I see is the fair shake of someone who has the right to called out. Ms. Rangappa is a former FBI Special Agent, lawyer, and faculty teacher at Yale, according to her twitter profile.
What this does for me is create two concerning ideas. If Ms. Rangappa ever stopped to think if free speech was worth it, blocking Elon is her sole right to do. You don’t have to deal with people who harass you. It’s up to every individual to block who they think is a “threat” but threats aside, the only thing I see with Ms. Rangappa is her inability to take criticism? I even responded to Piper’s tweet, and said, “And these people want to be safe from criticism? 👌” Ultimately I started to think about it further, and I said, “Another thing that needs to be added. If you can't take the heckle, don't heckle people. It's good to be kind, thoughtful, considerate, inquisitive, but no one likes a Sir Buzz Killington either. Best way I could explain it.”
