To be a writer in a streaming based world. It’s obvious. Maybe narration. But often times. It takes a lot out of me. Just like my voice for three weeks with strep throat. Here. It’s rather private. Conclusive. Nothing is shadow banned or refigured to access a gross calculation point. Being in the old media world feels like an old joke that doesn’t feel relevant anymore. But then, nothing is so simple.
To talk endlessly for hours without a set parameter feels too much like Twitch streaming. Again, I had plans to start a twitch channel that would be the opposite of the twitch streaming world. But to be a writer is a comfortable existence. Consequently, does this mean we should look directly at ourselves in our phones, pretending that’s the world we live in now.
Going out in public is harder for famous people, because they aren’t used to fans or crowds. Writers and podcasters do share the same DNA. But if being a podcaster is again a life of unknown celebrity, being a writer, without that voice, holds another charmed perspective. Asking for that charm is another exclusion of the ordinary voice presetting it all over again. My written word has a new perspective. But to consider that a bad thing might be reading too much into it. It is for the Lol’s I suppose
People do confound me. The way lefties argue they will leave Twitter as Elon Musk, eccentric car builder of Tesla, fear of being shut down over a lack of free speech. Like the way the business of craft and craftsman are just as or even more important than our craft. But I do realize that my generation has only two modes. Left and right. Some would argue that I don’t go into podcasting. I have no ambition of this actually working. You can honestly pretend that it will, but nothing is supposed to last.
Honestly, it’s not surprising.
But will let fate decide what is my chosen profession or not.
