There’s nothing worse than having to recognize the brutality of gun violence when a criminal open fires, and the media will have a frenzy surrounding who the perpetrator was. Understandably, the loss of life is always regrettable, and shouldn’t have happened. When Alec Baldwin, actor famous for roles like Glengarry Glenn Ross and his stint at SNL (before the unfunny years of 2000 and beyond), mistakenly shoots someone on set, the first thought popped into my head, “This is what happens when you try and lecture people about gun ownership.”
USA Today reports on October 23rd, 2021 by Emilie Ikeda “According to a search warrant, a crew member grabbed the prop gun from a cart and was unaware it was loaded with live rounds before handing it to the actor. The incident killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured the film’s director, Joel Souza.”[i]
Unfortunately, this does happen all the time. Many millennials will remember how Brandon Lee was shot with a prop gun[ii] that had a real round in the gun. While the loss of life is tragic upon Ms. Hutchins and Joel Souza, this can’t be solely placed upon the crew member. It takes a cautious human being to remember the most important rule of gun safety. Treat Every weapon as if they are loaded. It’s a weapon, not something to play with. Unless you count airsoft guns. But the condition of this is far worse upon the human psyche.
Alec Baldwin, who had repeatedly played Donald Trump during his years as 46th President of the United States, constantly mocking him and his supporters, faces public scrutiny. I don’t feel sorry for Baldwin. As long as we are going to search through people’s old tweets, through Typical Liberals meme page, a quote from conservative Mike Cernovich stated, “When Dick Cheney actually shot someone, Hollywood did comedy sketches, it was a punchline, Alec Baldwin even blogged about how Cheney would even be arrested. Keep your fake sanctimony off my page.”[iii]
Onsite reposted a tweet from Candace Owens, a Black Conservative, who opined that “Alec Baldwin spent four years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers. What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren’t for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So Sad.”[iv]Every outlet can paint or twist Candace Owens words to mean something else, but this is only half the outcry. And just to be clear, Candace Owens has the right to say what she thinks. It’s only the far left who hate what Ms. Owens or Mr. Cernovich says. Nobody would denounce her thoughts, except the most prudish reader.
According to Emily Smith’s October 23rd, 2021 New York Post Article, “A source close to the star said, “Alec is absolutely devastated, distraught, in shock and in disbelief how this could have happened. Yes, he can be hotheaded, but deep down Alec has a very good heart. But he’s a fragile guy, and we don’t know how he will ever come to terms with this.”[v] So sensitive. Sensitive enough to pull a trigger but not find a decent role. It must suck being accepted in Hollywood, you don’t have to act after you’ve “proven yourself.” Alec has now proven that he can’t even perform basic functions. I’m sure he can’t even put away dishes without supervision. Also, he might have to put away dishes in jail.
Ironically, Alec Baldwin will never face any real serious jail time for his acts. It’s just another case when dumb celebrities like Alec Baldwin will be able to buy his way out of jail. The fact that Alec Baldwin is supposed to be smarter than all of us. While the media would love to blame Trump Supporters or the crew for Alec Baldwin’s behavior, it’s abundantly clear. Alec Baldwin didn’t check to see if the gun was loaded. He didn’t take the due diligence to be a responsible adult. Alec Baldwin is not a child. He’s a grown man baby who could have done the simple yet elegant notion of being responsible when handed a weapon. I’m sure he wasn’t handed a NERF gun either, but Alec Baldwin can’t tell the difference between the two.
CNN’s Aya Elmaroussi, Chloe Melas, Claudia Domineguez, would claim, “An assistant director handed Alec Baldwin a prop firearm and yelled ‘cold gun”[vi] but this is not going to change the fact that Alec Baldwin held the gun in his hand and fired the weapon. By placing blame onto an “assistant director” is denying the simple facts. Personally, CNN are the legacy media. Nothing they say is of consequence to me, because they are serving the best interests of Alec Baldwin. It’s not like CNN is a beacon of information to trust, as the legacy media serves less purpose than Archeology. But CNN will not demonize Alec Baldwin. They will demonize Joe Rogan before they ever demonize Alec Baldwin. So fuck off CNN.
Alec Baldwin shot his cinematographer and wounded the director. It’s not going to change the outcome. There’s no reset button. Maybe Baldwin should have taken a gun safety course, but then, what’s hilarious is that the Conservatives may have cause to make fun of Baldwin because it’s not the Assistant Director who pulled the trigger. It was Alec Baldwin. I thought I would repeat this for people who are going to deny the facts. Deny the loss of life by blaming the Assistant Director, and not Baldwin himself. But not me. Alec Baldwin needs to find the best lawyer he can.
According to a October 25th, 2021 Fox News clip, Gutfeld, a comedian on Fox News, states, “If you segregate your world based on the ideas or identity, you are losing out on the shared ideas, you lose out on the wisdom, experience, and expertise of the groups you are avoiding.”[vii] If Alec Baldwin had just done the due diligence to hire an NRA member to help with the movie set, I wouldn’t have to make fun of him so viciously. Or this wouldn’t have happened. But then Alec, who hates guns so much, fell victim to the same mantras that he pursues against normal gun owners.
While this is happening, NewYorkFolk.com, by New Yorker, reports that Hannah Guiterriz Reed, reported on October 26th, 2021, “the “Rust” armorer’s landlady revealed on Tuesday she’s kicking out the 24-year-old because she “doesn’t want her living there anymore.”[viii] While this was expected to happen, nobody in the mainstream media, other than Fox News, did report on the story itself. Everyone was quick to hide this story in the lame stream media, because protecting Alec Baldwin is a high priority for the legacy media and shittier journalists who won’t question the lame stream legacy media narrative.
According to an October 27th, 2021 CBS article by Alex Sundry and Victoria Albert, a Santa Fe County Sherriff Adan Mendoza recovered a “lead projectile” or a “bullet” from the director, Joel Souza’s, “shoulder.” The article goes on, “Mendoza said they recovered about 500 rounds of ammunition from the set, which is a mixture of blanks, dummy rounds and "what we are suspecting, live rounds." He said there were three firearms recovered on the set: the gun believed to be fired by Baldwin, a revolver that appears to have some kind of modification to the cylinder, and a plastic non-functioning revolver. I think there was some complacency on this set, and I think there are some safety issues that need to be addressed by the industry and possibly by the state of New Mexico, but I'll leave that up to the industry and the state as to what those need to be,’ Mendoza said. While there is camera footage from the scene, Mendoza said there is no footage of the actual shooting.”[ix] Again, CBS is working overtime to protect Alec Baldwin, and with “no footage of the shooting,” this is going to make many speculate the original intentions of Baldwins actions. I certainly have questions, and most likely, a judge nor CBS is not going to take Alec Baldwin to task. So I will. All alone on a white horse, but Twitter never fails to impress me.
On November 1st, 2021, Newsweeks.com’s Natalie Colarossi reported Ms. Hutchin’s final last words, as she fell into the arms of the cinematographer. After she was shot. Through Ms. Colarossi’s finding in “the Los Angeles times” article Ms. Hutchins stated, “What the fuck was that? That burns!” As she died, she said, “That was no good. That was no good at all.”[x]
Time had passed, and much of the case went dark. On November 5th, the Daily Mail reported that the armorer, Hannah Guitezzerez Reeds father, “Thell Reed, is a veteran armorer - insisted that she had taken her role extremely seriously and had briefed all the actors, including Baldwin, that they should never point even unloaded guns at people.”[xi] The article points out that the lawyer, Jason Bowles, detailed there could have been foul play, “floated the wild theory that someone 'intended to sabotage' the production by sneaking live rounds into the package of ammunition.”[xii]
So far as this, much of the case has been quiet but with this development, it means there’s more to follow.
But then much of a case is solved within bite sized increments. According to MSN through a Los Angeles Times article, the “chief electrician” is now suing Alec Bladwin and the set armorer, Ms. Guiteerez, for negliganz in “Ms. Hutchins death.” Amy Kaufman, Meg James, and Julia Wick, the writers, state on November 10th, 2021, “Serge Svetnoy, who was the chief electrician or gaffer, is the first member of the "Rust" film crew to take legal action against the film's production company, Rust Movie Productions LLC, for the Oct. 21 tragedy in New Mexico.”[xiii] As of November 10th, the bullets are being studied by the FBI.
Svetnoy’s court order states, “The scene did not call for Defendant Baldwin to shoot the Colt Revolver, which should not have contained any live ammunition," the lawsuit said, adding that Baldwin should have known to ‘double-check’ the gun after assistant director Halls. Following the discharge, Svetnoy said he was struck by "what he believed was gunpowder and other residual materials from the gun" on his face and eyeglasses. Sound in both of his ears was ‘muffled.’”[xiv]
But BBC, on November 18th, a new lawsuit against Alec Baldwin by Script supervisor Mamie Mitchell - who called police after the shooting on the New Mexico film set - filed the suit. Her lawyer accused the actor of "playing Russian roulette" when he fired the gun without checking it.”[xv]
Although on November 26th, 2021, Variety’s Pat Saperstein reported, Alec Baldwin did hire “former Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron S. Dyer of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman” to handle the lawsuit” who also “defended “Girls Gone Wild” creator Joe Francis, who had been charged with racketeering and child pornography, as well as astronaut Buzz Aldrin, who punched a conspiracy theorist who insisted the moon landing was fake. Aldrin was not charged.”[xvi] Already, Baldwin’s defense attorney might not be a newbie when it comes to defending shittards like Baldwin, but as the case progresses, but considering that Baldwin will only get someone like Dyer speaks to his character. But then, Dyer is just another lawyer in the world of celebrity shitbags who might work to get Baldwin off scott free. But with this update, nobody as of November 26th, 2021 has been convicted. Not Ms. Guiterrez, or Alec Baldwin.
But on November December 2nd, Alec Baldwin sat down to discuss the shooting, and denied in the video, “I would never intentionally point a gun at someone.”[xvii] If this was a “one in a trillion shot” then why did Alec Baldwin claim responsibility for it. Whether it’s intentional or not, this can happen. Sadly enough, Ms. Hutchins is dead. But then, a court case has yet to give any full punishment onto anyone, from Ms. Guitezzerez or Baldwin. While this does proclaim a media stunt, he does cry and show some emotion. Credit where credit is due to tears, and actors do know how to cry on command.
But in the on going and monotonous life Alec Baldwin, and his inability to read the room, Breitbart news detailed the fall out of the disasterous interview Baldwin gave to Entertainment Tonight. On December 3rd, 2021, “Baldwin said, “I’m holding the gun where she [Hutchins] told me to hold it.”
He added, “In the scene [being rehearsed] I would have cocked the gun, and I said, ‘Do you want to see that? And she said yes. So I take the gun and I sort of cock the gun, I’m not going to pull the trigger.’ Baldwin said that Hutchins then had him adjust the angle at which he was holding the revolver. He then told Stephanopoulos, ‘I cock the gun and I go, ‘Can you see that? Can you see that? Can you see that?’ And I let go of the hammer of the gun and the gun goes off.” Baldwin also told Stephanopoulos, “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger.”[xviii]
Honestly, whoever suggested this to Alec Baldwin should have reasoned with him. Implored him not to do it. It just incriminated him even more. Personally, this is more than just guilt, but psychopathy in motion.[xix]
At the same time, Alec Baldwin shut down his social media channel amidst the scandal. But this isn’t the first time. Even the November 8th, 2017 Daily Beast article “Alec Baldwin Melts Down on Twitter after Weinstein comments, Blocks Asia Argento,” stated, “You heard the rumor that [Weinstein] raped Rose McGowan. You heard that over and over, and nothing was done. We’ve heard that for decades and nothing was done,” said Baldwin. When the interviewer said “well nobody said anything,” Baldwin replied, “Well but what happened was Rose McGowan took a payment of $100,000 and settled her case with him. It was for Rose McGowan to prosecute that case.”[xx]
Through the Daily Beast article, he even pissed off Asia Argento. To which her then living boyfriend, Anthony Bourdain, replied in the tweets “You should stick to just eating worms and keep your mouth shut.”[xxi]
So, by what you have seen above, Alec Baldwin’s a real fucking winner. Sarcasm yes, but it’s the only thing that breathes in between the lines. But as the case continues, Lauryn Overhulz from Fox News, through MSN.com, on December 17th, reported, Alec Baldwin’s phone is being sought for “evidence implicating Baldwin,”[xxiii] as he didn’t provide his phone without a warrant. Ms. Overhulz reported, “Attorney Melcher further pointed out that Baldwin could potentially have "attorney-client communications" on his phone. Melcher also suggested the sheriff's department "be careful" examining Baldwin's phone.”[xxiv]
While much of this creates doubt it also helps Baldwin not reveal Mr. Baldwin’s private information that could interfere with the case. And sometimes private information won’t help a case either.
On Christmas Eve, Alec Baldwin decided to go on Instagram detailing the support for him. “I wanted to take a moment to [inhale] say thank you to all the people who sent me such kind words, and uh, you know, best wishes and strength and hope, prayers and so forth. Thoughts, encouragement. [sniff] Lots of really really great, um, sentiments from people. I got hundreds, hundreds of emails from friends, family, colleagues, and people, and some, who I haven’t heard from in years.”[xxv] He goes onto say, “For some of us, this is never going to be behind us, because somebody died. And not a day goes by without thinking about that.”
The video itself seems like a man who is broken, mentally. His white hair is almost akin to a ghost, as a man of his former self is talking. Presenting such a sad case of age representing his former self. But to admit this so willingly is not a man who is making rational decisions about his image. Again, as the speculation increases, public opinion is also another factor playing out in the Alec Baldwin case. As of December 27th, 2021, it hasn’t even gone to trial yet.
If comedy is a tragedy, then it’s a three play act. The hero’s rise, victory, downfall, and then humiliation. We are in the humiliation phase of a human being who once was at the top of his career. Age doesn’t always humble people either. Famous or not.
But in the world of Alec Baldwin, the spice is always part of the fun. As of January 9th, 2022, two stories exist because of Alec Baldwin not handing over his cell phone. According to the New York Post writer, Natalie Oneal, in a January 7th article states, “Baldwin responded by telling them they would have to get a warrant, and they did so last month — though the phone has yet to be handed over to New Mexico cops.”[xxvi]
The Janurary 7th, 2022 NY Post article then stated that Investigators needed the cellphone, “because they believe it contains key conversations related to the prop-gun death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in October.”
CBS News will tell you a different story. On January 8th, 2022, CBS news reported, Through his Instagram page, Mr. Baldwin states, “Any suggestion that I am not complying with requests or orders or demands or search warrants about my phone, that's bulls***, that's a lie," he said.” For “issues of privacy.”[xxvii]
Okay, that’s understandable, but someone is dead. And the dead need their day in court, too. I’m aware that people need privacy and I’m all for that. But with a murdered woman, Ms. Hutchins fate is still in limbo.
But the world of Alec Baldwin seems to grow tainted by the few bread crumbs of information unleashed into the world. According to Military.com’s Mead Gruver on the 20th of January 2022, reports, “the widow and two sisters of a U.S. Marine” Ryan McCollum, “killed in Afghanistan are suing Alec Baldwin, alleging the actor exposed them to a flood of social media hatred by claiming on Instagram that one sister was an “insurrectionist” for attending former President Donald Trump's Washington, D.C., rally on Jan. 6 last year.” In addition, Mead Gruver reports, “The sister, Roice McCollum, protested peacefully and legally; was not among those who stormed the U.S. Capitol that day and, after being interviewed by the FBI, “was never detained, arrested, accused of or charged with any crime,” according to the lawsuit filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Cheyenne.”[xxviii]
And the only thing Alec Baldwin replied was “Good luck.” According to Gruver, Ms. McCollum received, “hundreds upon hundreds of hateful messages," including one telling her to “get raped and die” and that her brother “got what he deserved,” according to the lawsuit.”
Ms. McCollum is suing for 25 million dollars in damage. But Alec Baldwin has nothing left at this point. He might as well just go to prison, because he’ll be safer there. If all Alec Baldwin’s team has to say is “good luck” I think she might have it.
But according to Alexia Fernendez of People.com, on January 19th, 2022, attacked her in a “private Instagram DM” but People use the word “allegedly.” Yeah, like OJ Simpson “allegedly” killed his wife, right?
Alexia Fernendez of People.com, also states that “following McCollum's death, Baldwin found one of the Marine's sisters, Roice, 22, on Instagram and sent her a $5,000 donation to go to McCollum's widow, Jiennah Crayton, and their baby, the court documents read.”[xxix]
People.com’s Alexia Fernendez have not linked any court documents that could substantiate their claim in the aforementioned article. Nor have they referred any links or the Instagram DM’s in question regarding the claims of Alec Baldwin giving money to the Roice’s sister or widow. The only thing People.com have linked is McCollum’s sister reposting the reunion of January 6th, 2021, where the riot occurred on the United States Capitol.
Reaching out to the sister, Roice McCollum, has not responded to my claims as mentioned above.
In the midst of Alec Baldwin’s lawsuit, Deadline reported, on January 24th, 2022, that Alec Baldwin wants the charges dropped from Maimi Mitchell’s lawsuits. “Nothing about Plaintiff’s allegations suggest that any of Defendants, including Mr. Baldwin, intended the Prop Gun to be loaded with live ammunition,” responded Baldwin, Rust Movie Productions, LLC,, El Dorado Pictures, Inc., Ryan Donnell Smith, Langley Allen Cheney, Thomasville Pictures, LLC, Anjul Nigam, Matthew DelPiano, and Cavalry Media, Inc., who were “erroneously sued as Calvary Media, Inc.” says the filing in response to Mamie Mitchell’s November 17, 2021 lawsuit.”[xxx]
Again, lawyers are never one for legal jargon, and the definition is simple. He’s attempting to work a deal so that he could have the charges dropped. Until then, nothing is certain.
On Tuesday February 8th, 2022, Fox News Melissa Roberto, reported that Alec Baldwin, “returned to work on Monday, ending his three-and-a-half month hiatus from acting since the horrific ‘Rust’ shooting” and kept a video diary detailing “"I said I would keep a little diary while I was traveling and working. We had our first day today which is always tricky. I don't work as much as I used to and I've said this before maybe, but you go to work, and you forget what you're supposed to do. I just was like, oh, God what do you do? What is acting or any of this nonsense that I've ended up doing? It's strange to go back to work. I haven't worked since October 21st of last year when this horrible thing happened on the set of this film, and the accidental death of our cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.”[xxxi]
It’s amazing that Alec Baldwin is allowed to travel the country while the investigation is ongoing. I guess it’s nice being rich and powerful. And being an asshole isn’t exclusive to one another either. If Alec Baldwin can be allowed to move throughout the world, why not anyone else? Because he is rich and wealthy. The last thing this article respects, but admit it’s a factor in how people avoid paying for crimes committed. But it all works out if you’re rich, and anyone else, like Hayla Hutchins, is still dead.
A ghost hangs over this piece. It’s not fair that Ms. Hutchins given the same coverage as she’s not respected in the lame stream media. No coverage of who she is, and where she got to this point in filmmaking. No one speaking out about her life. The family silent. The unintended coverage has fallen around Alec Baldwin and his mishaps, but Alec Baldwin is a celebrity, a God to some people. Well, Alec Baldwin is not a God and no matter how much money he has, it won’t stop the truth from being revealed.
As the ghost, Ms. Hutchins, is the ghost that haunts this piece, a video has been leaked online of what the actual shooting could have been. On Februrary 15th, according to the LA Times, by Anousha Sakoul and Meg James, reported, “The family of slain “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins filed a wrongful-death lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin and other film producers Tuesday, blaming the tragedy on cost-cutting measures and reckless behavior by Baldwin and others.”[xxxii]
Through the pewpewlifenoir’s Instagram page, the video takes the snippet from the Alec Baldwin interview, showing the scenario of the bullet leaving the gun, and killing Ms. Hutchins, and wounding the director.[xxxiii] This has come out of the wrongful death lawsuit the Guiterriz family in result of the countersuit with Mr. Baldwin.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CaFe7Oslqyh/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link.
As time passes, and the world is now at the brink of insanity, the case seems to have this bubbling ripple effect. The more that develops the more the case grows ever curious.
But on Februrary 24th, 2022, Nehal Gautam reports from Republicworld.com, reports “Halyna Hutchins' husband Matthew recently reacted to Alec Baldwin's ABC interview where the actor talked about the Rust fatal shooting incident and denied taking responsibility for Halyna Hutchin's death.” In the Republicworld.com article, Matthew states, “Watching him, I just felt so angry. I was just so angry to see him talk about her death so publicly in such a detailed way and then to not accept any responsibility after having just described killing her.”[xxxiv]
With Alec Baldwin continuing to be the jack ass that he is, and I support his right to be a jack ass, but what happens is not surprising at all. In a yahoo.com’s Jen Juneau reports on March 7th, 2022, “Alec Baldwin says he believes some individuals filing lawsuits over the Rust shooting are motivated by finances.” As his exact words are, when detailing why he wouldn’t stop in terms of being sued. “'But we're not gonna let that stop us from doing what we need to do in terms of litigation,' " Baldwin added. "Why sue people if you're not going to get money? That's what you're doing it for.”[xxxv]
Alec Baldwin doesn’t cease to amaze me. He pretends to be righteous and just. I get that he’s getting sued, but let’s be honest. Lawsuits will always happen. Someone will always be mad. And people are mad. Including me.
Time passed and certainly things since March 7th, 2022, Alex Baldwin, remained quiet. It wasn’t until the FBI, according News8wtnh.com, reported, on August 16th, 2022, that “The latest FBI forensic report shows that the .45 colt caliber used in the fatal shooting on the “Rust” movie set could not have been fired without pulling the trigger.”[xxxvi]According to New8wtnh.com: “A newly released FBI analysis of the revolver that Baldwin had in his hand suggested it was in working order at the time and would not have been discharged unless it was fully cocked and the trigger was pulled.”
But according to CBC.com report, through the Associated Press, “The fatal film-set shooting of a cinematographer by actor Alec Baldwin last year was an accident, according to a determination made by New Mexico's Office of the Medical Investigator following the completion of an autopsy and a review of law enforcement reports.”And according to CBC.com: “Prosecutors have not yet decided if any charges will be filed, saying they would review the latest reports and were awaiting cellphone data from Baldwin's lawyers.”[xxxvii]
But it wouldn’t be Alec Baldwin, and his dumb ass would feel the need to sound off about the right wing media trying to attack him. According to the New York Post’s Olivia Land, on August 16th, 2022, “In an appearance on the YouTube show “The Chris Cuomo Project,” the disgruntled actor singled out The Post while whining to host Chris Cuomo about the media not dropping the story of the deadly on-set shooting. ‘I used to think The Post was something cops would read for the sports page … but I was surprised to learn some of the people who read The Post,’ Baldwin said in the episode that aired Tuesday.” Ms. Land continues: ““If George Bush’s mother, Barbara, fell through the ice on a pond and I waded into the pond and saved her life, they’d say I groped her. They’d say I squeezed her breast while I was pulling her out of the pond,” Baldwin insisted. ‘It doesn’t matter what you do,’ he said. ‘The ones that are out to get you are out to get you.’”[xxxviii]
One piece of the puzzle remains unclear. Or at least unqualified by any major publication. Only Dominic Patten of Deadline.com, reported on April 20th, 2022 article, “’Rust’ Armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed Claims Exoneration After OSHA Report on Fatal Film Shooting Puts Safety Violations Blame on Producer and Supervisors” claims from the family lawyer: “After OSHA’s very comprehensive safety investigation involving numerous interviews and review of documents, it has concluded that production willfully failed to follow national gun safety standards, which caused this tragedy,’ Reed’s lawyer Jason Bowles told Deadline on Wednesday. ‘OSHA found that Hannah Gutierrez Reed was not provided adequate time or resources to conduct her job effectively, despite her voiced concerns,” the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based attorney noted.”[xxxix]
But on September 27th, 2022, cbsnews.com’s Caitlan O’Kane’s reported that the Alburquerque officials reported, after requesting “$ 635,500”[xl] for the Alec Baldwin case, “We are within weeks, if not days, of receiving the final report from the sheriff's office," Carmack-Altwies said during a New Mexico Board of Finance meeting on Sept. 20. She said while they are still awaiting reports “it's become apparent that we will be potentially charging between one and four people with criminal charges and each of those charges will probably include some variation of our homicide statute.”[xli]
But to rewind, Mary K. Jacob’s September 22, 2022nd New York Post Real Estate states, “Alec Baldwin lists longtime Hampton Home months after upstate sale” as she reports, “Seven months after buying a massive 55-acre farm in Vermont, Baldwin, 64, is listing his longtime Hamptons estate for $29 million, The Post has learned. This East End listing also comes less than three months after Baldwin and wife, Hilaria, sold off their upstate Cleveland, NY, lake house in July for $530,000, records obtained by The Post show.”[xlii] As the Post reports, Baldwin’s purchase of the “1.75 million” house in 1996, is “worth 3.5 million” in 2022.
What does this mean? The world of Alec Baldwin has become increasingly difficult to bear. As an impending case could mean Baldwin could lose real money in the oncoming months, and more so, his career.
While much of the news surrounding Baldwin seems clear cut, there are twats, like Bevan Hurley at the Independent, on October 5th, 2022, stated in there headline, “Alec Baldwin accidentally shot a woman on set. He was named a ‘possible defendant’ a year later. What changed?” So, the headline stating with the words, “accidentally” does sound absurd and rather arcane to the death of Ms. Hutchinson. It’s odd phrasing, because if Alec Baldwin calling the cops on himself isn’t testimony, then the law is heavily skewed toward Baldwin’s fame and fortune.
Ms. Hurley states, “ Hutchins’ estate reached a settlement with Baldwin and the film’s production company over a wrongful death lawsuit. As part of the agreement, filming on Rust will resume in January, with her widower Matthew Hutchins named as an executive producer. Last week, the Santa Fe district attorney named Baldwin as a “possible defendant” in an ongoing criminal probe into the case.”[xliii]
So, it’s not odd for The Independent to say accidentally, but it’s another example of how titles like this are made to skew the issue. Accidental or not, Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger. The Independent is certainly trying to remain optimistic but Ms. Hurley is rephrasing the seriousness of Mr. Baldwin’s situation. He did shoot Ms. Hutchinson. A wrongful death means that Baldwin did in fact shoot Ms. Hutchins.
Now all that awaits is the court trial. That will be the third phase of the Alec Baldwin fiasco.[xliv]
But in all cases that seem to disappear, Alec Baldwin, in his outmost stupidity does the unthinkably banal act that reminds us all of how terrible he is at telling the truth. According to Jami Ganz’s October 23rd, 2022 New York Daily New’s article, “Alec Baldwin posts an ‘exploitative’ tribute to Halyna Hutchins” as if his admission wasn’t a sign of guilt, enough. Through his Instagram post, Ganz listed off the following replies from the post: “‘Seems exploitive given you’re getting all the attention from your fans instead of everyone focusing on her and her poor family,” said coffee_and_thrift. ‘Is that the person u shot?’ wrote troy17jones3.”
But in shocking turn that surprised none of my readers, including people with a functioning brain, Ms. Hutchins widow released this statement: “As part of that settlement, our case will be dismissed,” Hutchins said, noting he would executive produce the film. “I have no interest in engaging in recriminations or attribution of blame (to the producers or Mr. Baldwin). All of us believe Halyna’s death was a terrible accident.”[xlv]
Since the fates of so many presented in this article are in limbo, the public trial of Ms. Guiterrez is also not sealed either. As this could mean many of the principled sub characters above will go on to resume their normal lives. As Baldwin and Guiterrez’s widow have now made an agreement. Which is damaging to the justice system but also lets Baldwin get off without a trial, made clear by Ms. Hutchin’s widow.
The punchline is simple, in any comic joke. Ms. Hutchins is the punchline, and Alec Baldwin might never face trial for his crimes. He can take a sabbatical all he likes. He can scream about, she was my friend, all you like Alec. Baldwin’s career is another story. He might get some movie roles, but depending on how much interest Baldwin has in acting, is not the point either. Point being, Alec Baldwin might need a bullet proof vest if he is going to be free. Just saying. Not a threat, just a statement of life. But as Voltaire once said, to kill someone is, “once a philosopher, and twice a pervert.”

[xliv] As footnote 16 said, with my soft prediction, “Here’s a soft prediction and it may not happen: Alec Baldwin did this in order to cement his guilty verdict and cop a plea deal. He’s going to go broke and ruin him financially. But that’s a prediction and it may not happen. Soft predictions don’t always have to happen.” I knew that he would cop a plea deal in order to pay off his verdict, and slip quietly away, losing millions in the process. But then, we already know he’s guilty, but now, he doesn’t really have to go to court now. That’s a soft prediction, too.
