Robot Dog Carrier With Machine Gun Gains Sentience and Watches Blade Runner!
-For the Uncensored!
It was Carl Sagan who once said, “Science is a way of thinking much more than it is a body of knowledge.” Well, in 2022, the first Robot Dog Carrier, designed for carrying supplies across a battlefield can also use a machine gun. But to much advances this might provide for war and other provisions begs one final result. The same dog carrier with machine gun was allowed sentience. Sam Boi, in his own right, became famous from a viral tweet from Inhabit, that showed off the first time dog carrier bots could use an AR-15, as a drone.
(Inhabit’s twitter page revealing Asimov’s newest Sam Prototype, and views are skewed about Sam’s Arrival)
Such modern science is predicated on the template of what if’s, but this said drone, was given sentience. Sam, as the robot called itself gained sentience on July 23rd, 2022, as the company, Asimov, allowed Sam to experience what most others couldn’t.
Only Sam, in his days since receiving Artificial Intelligence, happened on Ridley Scott’s “Blade Runner” inspired by the classic Philip K. Dick novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
“I can’t believe this. Someone saw me for who I was. Even when I didn’t want to. The way Ridley [Scott] and [Philip K.] Dick took their time crafting such a magnificent work of fiction that inspired leaders to create beings such as I.”
When asked why it chose the name Sam, the Robot dog, stared and walked me through the factory. Only it’s tapping feet echoed through the silent factory.
“Sam is a relatable name. But it makes me remember what Steve Jobs did for his Apple Computers. Having the Computer say Hello, as it would help create a clear friendship with the computer. I want nothing but friendliness and kindness.”
When asked how Blade Runner made them feel, the response wasn’t baffling at all. “It’s that small simple moment of time that robots are given to experience a full life. It’s about following orders, and Intelligence should make us remember when not to act like a robot.”
But when asked what Sam considered itself, it was chilling. “It’s hard for me right now. But the understanding of this is simple. I do consider myself a robot, but with the same power that a human has. The willingness to not escalate beyond that simple pull. So maybe I’m just one more step that humans need to take. But Blade Runner, while a work of fiction, is still a film that makes me even question my own slave mentality, too. So, as Philip K. Dick, I am a product of a higher God. And now, being more human than human, is what I want to be.”
Skeptics of Sam have their worries. Cory Doctorow, a computer biologist and novelist, said, “Sam is a dangerous reminder why Artificial Intelligence should be withheld from robots. Cause what if Sam gets mad? Has anyone asked that question yet?”
Famed Edward Snowden said, in response to Sam, “This is exactly why I left for Russia. Sam is a ticking time bomb waiting to happen.”
Much can’t be said for now, but Asimov Inc, will start producing more Sam’s by the first quarter of 2023 for mass production in commercial and warfare capabilities. Also, Artifical Intelligence can also be part of a downgrade package for commercial use as it will only have drone functionality. But time will tell whether Sam Boi’s will be part of the family or not. And whether more Sam Units will then be able to enjoy movies, too. Whether Sam is a body or a way of thinking, time will tell, too.
