For many video game fans, Marvel’s The Avengers, in their own right, didn’t deserve to fail. It literally managed to make every thinking person, who didn’t like Kamala Kahn, off being the dumbest and most meh super hero, while she did have some human moments, it’s really not enough to carry an entire game. While the intro is the best moment, I didn’t care what happened to Kamala Kahn, which is what leads us into our quandary.

In 2019, Marvel’s Endgame was about to release, and the stage was set for Square Enix’s release to break major records. And anything with Marvel slapped on it should be printing money and creating enough online play to help push the game into a successful IP. What Square Enix didn’t count on was that if it flopped, it would have to pay back what it didn’t earn, and when Marvel licenses you a product, they expect it to make money.
