Guns and Culture # 2: Article 1127 B and the War Against Glock
Share

California in all its wisdom has never cared about the common man. Whether it’s about cramming gay/transgender rights, movies that lecture us all day that nobody wants to watch, down our throats, is pushing Article 1127 B into California legislatures. The law, according to Moms Demand Action April 1st, 2025 article, “No novice should be able to convert their pistol into a DIY machine gun with just a 3D printer and a screwdriver within minutes,” said Greg Lickenbrock, senior firearms analyst at Everytown for Gun Safety. “Modified pistols equipped with Glock switches are exceptionally deadly weapons that have become a weapon of choice for criminals and are increasingly turning up at crime scenes in California and across the country. Glock and other copycat companies must take action to ensure their pistols are not so easily susceptible to these devices.”[1]

Every state has different rules concerning this issue. Concerning custom guns in Pennsylvania, even with the use of Bump Stocks. “Fully automatic weapons are only legal with an NFA tax stamp if they were manufactured and registered prior to 1986.”[2]
