Preface
Never in my life as an artist have I ever felt the need to write about something other than Art. I don’t pretend to know that much about this subject, at the start of this preface. As of writing this, I am author of over 19 books, this presents new territory for me. If fighting for art means I have to defend it, I never found cause or a villain as strong as Censorship, and Critical Race Theory. I tackle this subject all the time on my substack blog, but to understand Critical Race Theory, it proves one thing correct. Critical Race Theory is hell bent on destroying the individual, imploring corporatism over capitalism, using censorship as violence over the independent mindset, deploying guilt about race and gender as its main weapon. All of these subjects affect me as an artist. This out of all the topics proves to be the main focus for me. As an artist, I have never felt the need to defend art other than create it. What I do have to say must be said. Critical Race Theory is not just about Marxism, while that is the topic of many other books, Critical Race Theory, attacks all forms of individuality and artistic endeavors. This is a time to prove my skills other than creating Art. This is not that book. I do create Art as well, for my soul, but this is a spear into my enemies psyche. As Joseph Conrad’s Colonel Kurtz said in Heart of Darkness, “The Horror…the Horror…”
Marxism: The Long and Short
The long and short of Marxism. A ideology that spread from Karl Marx, a philosopher who would have been considered an alt right republican today. He didn’t like the government. He didn’t like the government keeping guns from people. He hated the way the rich always got ahead in life. If Karl Marx were alive today, he would have never been an American lefty. He would have hated the way they used capitalism to force the poor to keep shit paying jobs. Karl Marx created something that could was a paper ideology and burned through history. Countries think that equality and fairness pay the bills. Well, they do that in Art, too. For an artist to exist in a communist country, all your art is handled through the state. You can’t criticize the state nor can you question the government. It makes you realize, what can you do in an artist’s uniform. Nothing. Obey, obey, and with the help of corporations, they will certainly make you do what they want with your art. So, long and short, your art means nothing to Marxists.
