For Chapters 379 and 380, we see the eventual destruction of Silat’s mountain fortress and the city, because the implication of Berserk’s soul thesis is that Guts is the Ubermensch. The one true warrior who finds himself in the most precarious of situations. But it’s worse when the outcome of Berserk is that other characters take center stage while Guts sits the fight out. We see a huge major character development in Farnese who has now mastered her witch powers, creating a huge showering light over the temple where Silat and the others held their debate.
But it seems like whenever the sub characters want to take control, they almost don’t know how to handle the situation. It’s normal for that because they aren’t the main character, Guts, but it seems like whenever it wants to go in that direction, even the villains know Guts is what holds the story together, even if the others don’t realize it.
