Anne Frank and White Privilege

In the art world this shouldn’t be in the running for what constitutes an artistic merit. White people are allowed to make works of art and it can be beautiful, haunting, dazzling, and white people can imagine themselves as anything they want. Black, White, Mexican, or Indonesian. But the power and gravitas of bullshittery on Twitter is sometimes like interacting with hot lava, and it’s worse when you have to even write an article about it.
Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl, who wrote in her diary during World War 2, later to be published under her father’s supervision, “The Diary of Anne Frank” has wondered and amazed everyone. Including myself. My eighth grade mind was always curious as to what someone, even myself, would do under those circumstances. Her diary, detailing her time spent hiding in an attic, cut short and captured before the Nazi’s would eventually die, according to AnneFrank.com’s, “Bergen Belsen” concentration camp[1] in 1944.
Twitter, in all its fucked up world view, as the Independents Ryan Coogan, states in a July 12th article, “feels like one of those really unethical social experiments from the 1960s, crafted by some deranged psychologist to see if it’s possible to invent a website that makes somebody angrier than they’ve ever been in their entire life while also ensuring they still check it for updates every 30 seconds.”[2]
Claiming that Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl, had “white privilege” is something only lefties could figure made the most sense. The irony aside is astoundingly banal and fucked up beyond any repair. What does this actually mean? The left, in there irony, have attacked every ideology they can, in their quest to destroy Art, have finally done it.
And the argument is did Anne Frank have White Privilege.
As Israel Hayom’s Michal Arahoni on July 12th, 2022, stated, “It began with a minor change in wording, with most tweets saying Frank was "killed," rather than "murdered." Some users had heard about her, but most had no real idea about her story. For them, the mere fact that Frank was white was enough to form an opinion.”[3]
It’s odd for me to even craft an argument in response to something asinine, sickening, and retarded. Is this about her sentence structure, the way she wrote, or how wonderfully optimistic Ms. Frank was in her hopes of having a real life beyond the very horrors she faced in 1930’a and 40’s Nazi Germany?
No, White Privilege. That’s the topic of discussion. Anne Frank was murdered, and she didn’t have a chance to defend herself and her words. She didn’t die in vain. But Twitter, in its stupidity, thinks this is a good conversation to have. But this is exactly what the left wants. And they have succeeded.
It’s not. It’s damaging to Art. It hurts any real world conversation around Anne Frank, because she didn’t deserve to die for being Jewish. But it’s perfectly sane and rational behavior for Twitter, and for the words Anne Frank wrote. And these aren’t the left who care about books, films or even what qualifies as Art anymore.
They have no talent, morals, or even discipline that could match up to Ms. Frank, but this is now going to be posited to lefties. Is this what you want your party to be? Defining everything by color and not by merit? Are you so hell bent on giving power to people’s skin color that you’re acting like Jim Crowe racists in the 60’s? And let’s be fair, those were democrats, not republicans. So, are you going to fess up and tell me that I’m white and shouldn’t have an opinion about this subject? And this is telling. And to sound like Yoda, “Know History, You do Not.”
