Dave Chappelle Attacked Again!

In 2022, comedy has been regularly attacked by media pundits pretending they know every little thing. Saying what they think and want about the little people. Us. Telling us, “Don’t question authority. Be a good little boy and do your job.” Yeah, this is coming from the same who people who will advocate for censorship and say they are protecting people. The unfortunate pleasure of seeing Dave Chappelle being attacked is becoming tiresome. It’s fucking old.

According to the May 6th, 2022, New York Post’s Yaron Steinbuch, “Chapelle, who was not hurt in the incident, thanked his pals for leaving the alleged attacker, Isaiah Lee, 23, with a badly disfigured arm.”[1] But according to Chris Boyette, Lisa Respers France, Caroll Alvarado and Stella Chan, from CNN, Netflix is defending Chappelle in his distress. “We care deeply about the safety of creators and we strongly defend the right of stand-up comedians to perform on stage without fear of violence,’ a Netflix spokesperson told CNN in a statement.”[2]
What makes this deeply disturbing is that Twitter will outright call for violence against Dave Chappelle. But support for Dave Chappelle is strong.
Tulsi Gabbard even tweeted, on May 5th, 2022, “The attack on Dave Chappelle is just another example of how too many “woke" Americans hate freedom of speech — so they try to shut it down through censoring, violence, or intimidation.”[3]
I’m going to give a portion of this article to the lefties who might be reading this: What makes this truly disgusting is that you think this will stop comedians. Do you think this is a good idea? This isn’t something to be proud of. This is what I would describe as, two bit criminal behavior. But let’s be honest. You have no more pull. Twitter is failing. So, just stop. Stop because nobody is going to take this anymore. Not comedians, writers. Or anyone else.
You can’t bully and intimidate artists anymore. You’re not scaring us anymore. And the more people like Dave Chappelle are going push back, the art can come back again. But again, you’re attacking comedians over a joke. You sound far worse than any religious nut ball. Catholics laugh at the Da Vinci Code far more than the left will laugh anymore at themselves. You, little boy/girl, are a cancer. You have no talent and you’re yelling at people like me, Dave Chappelle, but it’s hilarious at this point. Art, jokes, humor, is to be uncensored. I write this because I nor anyone else will be intimidated by a celebrity, corporation or crazy person.
And William Burroughs, drunk, shot his wife. So, writers are crack shots. And so is Dave Chappelle.
