-For the Uncensored!

It has come to that time when someone I deeply admire has blocked me. It’s odd, because as a patron of the arts, I don’t see Razörfist, the Ragaholic, as one of my children who finally decided to become part of the culture, as he decided to release two fantasy pulp noir books, The Long Moonlight, which I have preordered my signed copy of the sequel. Being blocked by Razörfist feels almost like an absurd joke. The weird reality of being blocked by him should make me feel bad, but animosity and anger is Razörs ammunition. I really don’t know why any of this happened, at first.
But then realizing this is very simple: In a video where he described his love for Bandes Dessines, the French comic industry, and whether it should reign supreme over Western comics or Manga, I am certainly skeptical, but I was willing to listen. I liked his arguments, as I seldom disagree, but after a while, considering that I am a manga fan, through and through, I told him that I didn’t like Bandes Dessines, just stating my preference. It’s hard for me to consider that I would be blocked stating my preference of loving Manga over Bandes Dessines. It might be a myriad of other jealousies, too. Being retweeted by Bounding into Comics might be one of them, but that might not be it either. I have yet to hear from Razör to at least know the offense that was given.
The way someone publishes a book and they start thinking they are the sole authority on life and death. This is not Razor’s problem. He has been nominated for a Hugo award for his job as a podcast editor in 2015. The confusion of probably misreading my tweet is probably the most simplest explanation. It’s like being blocked by a famous person who you were a fan of. But Razörfist isn’t on the level of fame as say Josh Brolin is. Quality, Razor has, and Brolin, is puff and bluff.
But it’s hard for me to fathom that what happened was out of pure miscommunication. After much debate, I hope this letter proves that my intentions in my response weren’t out of rage but offering a positive notion of having my own opinions over his. Accepting that he can have his passions and I can have mine. I wasn’t slapping the Bandes Dessines cock out of his mouth, at all. And that’s not an insult either. His words. It’s just not my thing. But he blocked me so I couldn’t even show the offensive tweet in question that I said.
Most youtubers are akin to entertainers. They want blind loyalty, not equals. It’s hard for me to pretend this isn’t true. I, like Griffith from Berserk, in a variation of his speech, want creative men and women to have their own dreams, and not cling onto mine. But I respect their art the more for being unique and create new genres or literature to be enjoyed for years to come.
But to block me is baffling, no matter the case, because he never made a response or asked me what my words meant. I wish Razörfist lots of luck in his youtube and novel writing career. As I did preorder his sequel to The Long Moonlight, and can’t wait to see if he writes something shitty in his signed edition, too. As John Ford received a letter from Kirasawa, detailing how he was going to sue John Ford, he framed the Kurasawa letter on the wall.
I hope that I can do that. That would be really fun.

i feel like this HAS to be some kind of misunderstanding. most people ive seen would just do a snarky quote tweet roast or something. they wouldn't just block you, if they blocked you at all.
