(Note: Here’s some ASMR reading sounds to help get my readers in the mood or put it on the background while you read)
As a new year approaches for Substack, and after taking a year off from writing to help develop new novels and poems, I can honestly say, WE’RE SO BACK.
The year seems so right for new articles to be developed, and curated, but also returning back to older unfinished articles to help them see the light of day.
A few things to cover will be as follows:
· The Second Season of Last of Us.
· Covering any games news with truthful unbiased viewpoints that don’t represent a youtubers perspective (unless used to help create a pivot point that shares the opposite opinion I share, or at least provides a humorous context.)
· Writing more Open Letters to figures that I deem worthy or unworthy.
· Fit more articles under headings so that the reader will get that particular viewpoint.
· Do more live videos on notes so that I can reach more people that don’t really read articles.
What I do want to address is the reader. Readers, like myself, are what make up words, books, and engaging vocabulary that pulls readers in. Atmosphere describes novels but articles, Letters, require a central focus. And I want to refocus that on what the readers and myself want. Being a reader and writer can take up a lot of time, but something that we both love is the main goal.
But remembering the reader is why readers exist. I want to exist so articles and letters must represent what people’s taste represent. But maintaining a truthful perspective is hard when a crowd demands blood prose. To salivate one’s simple perspective of right and wrong. Because politicians can be right and wrong, and addressing the truth is what real journalism is. Perverting journalism and articles to represent biased opinions is exactly what CNN and MSNBC crave. But even if the mainstream media change their ways, Substack and my readers are the future. The future writers are on Substack, not for the New York Times, Washington Post, or LA Times, either.
If the world of writers occupies a digital space, Substack, and its readers, are the future of all daring, provocative, and beautiful world readers want to flock to. Nobody wants to read Tom Sawyer when they could read A Clockwork Orange. Today, Substack is the Clockwork Orange of all daring and provocative material. And readers are more than welcome to my page in 2025 than ever before.
Sincerely,
LtB
